Work History
Being trained in the traditional sense as a production artist, I quickly became adept in all types of production, process printing, package & print design, and customer relations all in an agency enviroment. Working in this type of fast paced, often intense pressure situation also gave me the time management, and administrative skills that eventually led me to open my own studio.
After nearly 10 years of running a small studio of usually 3 to 5 employees, providing the same services as a full service agency, I broke away to freelance on my own. While the work was fulfilling, it became evident that there were certain pitfalls of being self-employed. I accepted an offer from one of my clients to work for them full-time. Over a period of 7 1/2 years I helped to create their online ecommerce business which in 2005 had grown to approximately 16 million per year in gross sales.
I continue to study and develop my design skills as well as my extensive programming abilities, keeping up-to-date on new technologies, and constantly changing trends on the web and in this global economy.
The world is rapidly changing much faster than anyone can imagine. Almost at the speed of light. The economy is global. Information is for the most part instantaneous, and if we embrace it, and the technologies as they develop, we can acheieve greater sucess in business. Challenging as it is my goals are to continue providing quality work to my clients, and enjoying their continued stories of success.
